ANIMATEUR / SCHOOL TEACHER TRAINING

Following training with Sue Hollingworth and Michael Stocks on the Voices Foundation course, I have worked in primary schools as an Animateur and Teacher Trainer all over the country.

I have led projects for a variety of organisations during the last twenty years as a Primary Music Specialist.  My teaching relies heavily on kinaesthetic (movement) approaches and draws on the teaching principles of Kodaly and Dalcroze.  If you would like to arrange a workshop with your children, or teacher training with your staff, please get in touch.

“You always had an excellent rapport with the classes you taught, keeping them interested with material suitable for their age and stage. You were very positive in your comments thus encouraging them to want to participate, especially in singing by themselves. You were able to set a very good example by expressing high expectations, and you delivered your subject with ease and competence.”

Feedback from Teacher Training courses for the Trinity/Open University CPD courses in KS2 Music:

“Amy was absolutely fantastic!  Thought the whole session was brilliant!”

“I can't remember being on a course that I have enjoyed so much. You are a very talented lady with an infectious love of music. I found you very inspiring and have not stopped thinking of all the things that we learnt.”
