CHORAL LEADERSHIP & PEDAGOGY (CLP)

As a response to the unpredictable landscape Covid forced on the Arts in general, and choral singing in particular, my CLP course offers a unique opportunity for choral leaders to broaden their knowledge and develop their skills. During this intensive online course, I share a wide variety of content, knowledge and first-hand experience with participants. CLP will appeal to freelance choral directors, music teachers, community musicians, singers and anyone interested in choral leadership and pedagogy. The course is delivered by myself with special international guest speakers in the evenings.

This year’s course is slightly streamlined but with the same great content. Better still, you can sign up to the evening ‘special guest’ sessions only, if preferred. Just check the £30 box on the application form below if opting to do this and pay via PayPal using the ‘click to pay’ button below. If signing up for the full course, please fill in the application form at the bottom of this page and I will email you with payment details!

The inaugural CLP course that took place in August 2020 was fully subscribed and received very generous feedback. Thank you to all those who made this first experience so special and memorable, and for making me embrace its relevance to people from all over the world! Further courses have run due to demand.

Highly nurturing, encouraging and inspiring leadership and guidance demonstrated by Amy. The course has been incredibly insightful and I would strongly recommend future courses to conductors/musical leaders at any level

The CLP course was exceptional. Amy delivered a wonderfully balanced course which kept me engaged the whole time. Amazing content and presented wonderfully.

This was an amazingly comprehensive course. I have already recommended it to friends and colleagues. Very uplifting experience focusing on new, exciting positives in what seems like dark times.

Well-balanced sessions! Excellent preparation and delivery! Thank you for going online and making this accessible to others who are overseas!

Amy’s approach is so positive and encouraging, assuming nothing and reacting to what she sees and knows will help us to progress.

This course more than met my expectations - highly relevant material delivered in an expert way and speakers that were all very enlightening and thought provoking. Highly recommended.

Amy created a special opportunity for us to gain insightful instruction into choral pedagogy in a safe supportive environment with like minded colleagues.

Amy’s course was really wonderful. Everything that you would expect to be covered on a Choral Conducting course was covered, and the guest speakers inspired us even further.

My 1-1 lesson was invaluable and more helpful than I can say really - you’ve given me the tools and skills I need to practise to be the best that I can be for the children I’ll be working with.

It has been such an amazing and inspiring week! It has also been an absolute honour getting to meet and work with you.
